INTEGRATED PROGRAM FOR STREET CHILDREN
The program provide for shelter, nutrition., health care and education, recreational facilities to these children and seeks to protect them against abuse and exploitation though local bodies, educational institutions and voluntary organization. The programmed components under the scheme are :
1) Establishment of 24 hours drop in shelter
2) Non-formal education.
3) Vocational Training and placement.
4) Health care and treatment programmes.
5) Counseling, guidance and referral services.
6) Programmes of capacity building.
7) Advocacy and Awareness.
8) Documentation of existing facility, preparation of city level plan of action and surveys.
