EDUCATION WORK FOR PREVENTION OF ATROCITIES ON WOMEN
Brief description
The focus of this scheme is to educate people on legislation and its enforcement to prevent social crimes against women.
Objectives
To promote propaganda, publicity and research work for prevention of atrocities on women viz. rape, dowry deaths, wife-beating, alcoholism, eve-teasing etc.
Target group
Women as a class who have been subjected to deprivation, brutality and extortion.

On 2004-2005, 10 nos of NGOs received fund for creating awareness for prevention of atrocities on women.
